We share these trends and averages for our customers and breeders in the Longhorn Industry who could better their programs by analyzing it as it best suites them. 2025 Chisholm Trail Select Sale Results:

  • 35 out of 39 lots sold for an unofficial total of $78,800 and unofficial average of $2,251
  • There was 1 scratch and 3 POs
  • Top 10 lots average: $3,620
  • Top 25 lots average: $2,654
  • With this being the 14th sale of 2025 to be included in our Hired Hand Live Trends & Averages series, the 2025 Annual Average to date is $7,383.99
  • The sale average without the highest lot ($8,000) and the lowest lot ($1,000) included is $2,115
